The Story Behind Calculator Trends

I’m Ripon Borceg (Ziven), the founder and developer of Calculator Trends, currently pursuing a B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) degree with coursework spanning Financial Accounting, Business Mathematics, Banking & Insurance, and Corporate Finance.

During my studies, I regularly needed to verify bank charges before visiting SBI, estimate electricity bills for household budgeting, and check SSLC grade conversions for college applications. Every time, I found either outdated information, cluttered tools with intrusive ads, or calculators that didn’t explain their methodology.

That frustration became Calculator Trends. Every tool here is built on the same formulas I cross-reference in my commerce coursework — RBI-published slab structures for RTGS and DD, TNDGE’s official SSLC grading methodology, and TANGEDCO’s published domestic tariff rates. I verify each calculator against real transaction receipts and official government notifications before publishing.

I’m also a practitioner in SEO and web development, which means I care equally about how information is found and how clearly it’s presented.

Data Sources & Methodology

All financial calculators reference RBI-regulated bank service charge circulars and official bank schedule of charges. Education calculators follow TNDGE (Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations) and Kerala DHSE grading methodology. Utility tools use TANGEDCO’s published domestic tariff slabs. Formulas are cross-checked against official gazette notifications and updated whenever source institutions revise their rates.

Privacy-first by design: No inputs, results, or usage data are transmitted to our servers. All calculations run entirely in your browser.

Are all calculators completely free?

Yes. Every tool on Calculator Trends is free, with no registration, no subscription, and no hidden charges.

How accurate are the financial calculations?

Our tools use the same slab structures and formulas published in official bank service charge documents and RBI circulars. They are accurate for estimation and planning. For a transaction that matters financially, always confirm with your bank branch directly — charge structures can change between publication and your transaction date.

Which boards do your SSLC tools support?

Currently Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) and Kerala (DHSE/SSLC) grading systems. We document the exact grading methodology used for each tool so you can verify it matches your board’s system.

Is my data stored when I use a calculator?

No. All calculations run in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, logged, or stored in any database.
